Gawai Ngabang....

Had fun during Gawai celebration here with colleagues and nurses here...
went to a few houses for 'ngabang' (house visiting)....
First house, on 31/5/12 evening...it's one of the OT nurse's house and it's far inside the kampung...

Second house... and so on... as you can see...there're plenty of alcohol served...and they were too friendly and kept serving you varieties of alcohol available, beers, whisky, tuak, and etc....if you don't take it, you will be sort of impolite...so to be nice, i took some, well, a bit more than some, sort of tried all kind of alcohol since i'd never tried before...and for that, my body system reacted, urticaria flares with itchiness.....damn...anyway, those cool down in a few days...hehe...and honestly, alcohol tastes suck, i don't know why they like it so much.......

 my 'gawai' present, from dad...   Had been looking for the cheapest pen in UK, no more 8 pen for RM 1.90, the cheapest i can find is these, 0.80/pen. Bought 10 on 31/5/12 and i'd already finished one and half so far...lets see how long these 10 pen gonna last... that's all the fun during gawai...

Been doing oncalls EOD, cause not enough 'functioning' MOs.... 

Plus, here's well known of post gawai madness.... and true enough, after gawai, PK and hospital wards were flooded with swam of people, especially kids! Most of them having diarrhea and vomitting!! and fever and URTI!! and HFMD!!! 99.9% are all infections! 

Too hard to prevent infections here cause many of them all live together under one longhouse, plus with their poor hygiene and low immunity.....give an easy way for infection to do their infecting job.... 

when's this going to improve? alright....off to ZZzzzzz
