As i mentioned in previous post, i'll be escorting a patient by medivac 2nd time, but unfortunately the medivac can't fly to UK cause they need to bring a patient from bintulu to kuching. So, I escorted the patient by ambulance boat for the first time. THe boat will stop at Kanowit, 2 hour ride to kanowit, then from Kanowit, the Sibu ambulance will bring us to Hospital Sibu which will be another 40 minutes ride.

I thought I will be escorting a patient, but in the end, i escorted another intubated Pulmonary TB patient, who deteriorated early in the morning.

This is the ambulance boat...small boat....leave at 12 pm...




Inside the boat...the adult intubated patient was put at the middle there, and the prem baby was carried by the staff nurse and sit at the side....
Ambulance boat was really a bad transport to transfer a patient, cause it kept bumping up and down...no wonder we have to stop at Kanowit to use the ambulance to Hospital Sibu...


Reached at Kanowit at 2 pm...


Reach at hospital sibu at 2.45 pm.....so had to stay in Sibu overnight again this time....Thank God, Josephine worked at office hour, so she was free to accompany me...

During this weekend, got one VVIP came to UK, to celebrate Maal Hijrah here...
And he came at the wrong time, cause here's having a 'measles season'...
Thus, 2 medical teams was summoned to do their job, one team for measles screening to prevent the suspicious sick person to go near him, another team to stand by in case anything happen to him....

My weekend was spent on this S***** event but at least can claim for OT....hehe

Tomorrow will be another public holiday...yeah~ but need to help my colleague for his medical ward round...then after that, need to go for grocery shopping.......

Tuesday will be another busy day..cause that day Polyclinic will have '2 days (Monday and Tuesday)' patients..so much more patients compare to usual day...
