day IN day OUT: Moscow trip SECOND DAY Part ONE

Okay, sorry for the delay….cause need time to upload all the pictures……..
Now, ermm….update for day 2 in MOSCOW

Our plans were:

8.30am ~ Woke up, took our breakfast, the mcdonal burgers and a cup of tea….need to keep ourself full of energy cause we gonna walk for a long time today…hahaha….

9.30 am ~ Departed from our hostel to the Metro station to where?? MOSCOW ZOO!!!! Hohohoho!!!

10.00 am ~ Reach MOSCOW zoo!! Asked for the tickets price….for student price! The cashier doesn’t really sure about the price so asked us to go in the cafeteria to ask another person…and guess what? Its FREE for students!! Hohoho…just show them the students card and you just go in without paying the money! But unfortunately I didn’t bring my student card…so, after the guard took a look at Josephine’s student card, Josephine quickly pass her student card to me, and yep, the guard let me pass too…Phew~
Thank GOD….hehehehe…

See how big is the MOSCOW zoo! There are 2 territories…Old and New territory which is divided by a road….and connected with a bridge

This is the first thing we saw….a lake of snow….with nothing inside

But there is a few group of small houses! Guess what kind of animals living there??

These are the one….all kind of birds…..’land birds’ ?? But where are they?? On the other side of the circle….

Here they are! Happily swimming in the mini lake….

Actually its actually a big lake with only a few small part of land which occupied with small houses..but because of winter….the lake became solid…so their owner cracked a small mini lake for them to swim …

Later we proceeded on…to see the birds….all kind of birds….too many kinds of birds…till I were quite bored of it…hahaha…

This is their new habitat! Looks like natural one rite?? So geng….

Now, lets check it out what’s inside this building…

Birds again? Yea..different kinds of birds again…they all are stored inside the building cause it’s cold now, so to keep them warm, they are temporarily locked here..haha…I think during summer, they will be released to the open environment…

The picture of their wonderfully men-made environment! Besides it, is the place where penguins live…

Here they are…the penguins…a kind of birds too…haha…

See? Horn bill? Yea…I think it’s called horn bill…right?

Forgot what’s it called…..but it’s very unique bird with a feather on top on its head..haha..

Okay…enough for the birds now..lets pass to another animals….hehehe….

What kinds of animals living in there?? Why is it empty???

OOOoohhhh…..the animals are temporarily kept in there again…cause of winter….the green label means Tropical Cats….

This is the first animal that caught our eyes when we entered the building….remember this black cat?? Ever watched a story of JUNGLE BOOK? This cat is one of the Mowgli’s best friend! What’s it called? Called BLACK PANTHER or Melanistic Leopard!! It looks so cool!!! COOL~ ! ~ !

This is where they temporarily live…..behind the transparent glass….Nice home rite?? Glad that they have a nice home…hahaha..

Lets pass on to the original leopard……hohoho……

Ei? Another white tiger? Yea..another white tiger…stay tune for the third one! Hahaha…

This is where the tropical cats stay during the summer time……

Empty cage…didn’t see anything..maybe they are kept some where else…

A kind of wolf…

Wondering how the zoo keeper feed the wolf when the cage is fully surrounded by fence….see the door behind there? That’s the door the zoo keeper to go inside there..but not sure where’s the main door which lead to that door..haha…very nicely created cage…

Different kinds of horses…

Where is this?? This is where we visitors can watch the performance by sea lion, seal, and dolphin!! But I think that place is used only during summer…that’s another covered place, also for the performances…But too bad, we didn’t get to watch it….cause the performance is only on at 1 pm and 3 pm……and we missed the 1 pm performance..we cant wait for the 3 pm cause we plan to go for the buffet before 2 pm….

Can you guess what kind of animal living in that specially and uniquely created habitat?? Currently there was nothing in there….so it must be kept somewhere else…

An elephant skeletons?? Yeah…that place is owned by elephant…but because of winter..they will kept under the roof!

The elephant was too bored…walking to and fro repeatedly..must be because the place is too small for it…

Do you think there’s only one elephant?? Nop! There’s more!! Only that, they were locked behind this gate…

Okay…I think that’s all for the OLD TERRITORY…remember I told you that there’s 2 parts of the Moscow zoo?? Now lets go to the New territory now......Just go up there….

See the bridge there?? that’s the only way to the New territory! yea…now you can imagine how big is the MOSCOW zoo ler?? Hohoho…

Guess what is it?? We first thought it’s a stone..but when we made sounds…it move!! Hahaha..it’s an OWL!!! Looks cute..hahahahaha…it only move its head around without moving its body…

Can you guess what animals living in that site?? Fully hanged with rope??? Yea..its spesies of monkey…orang utan, gorilla…but where are they??

Its all empty cages….All of them are stored here…

Here they are…kept again behind the transparent glass….will only be released to outside during summer…there are all kinds of monkey here….from very very small sized Monkey to the big gorilla and orang utan!1

Their habitat inside there is also hanged with rope..ahahha..

Birds species again?? Yea! But dunno what’s it called…they shouted loudly when we went nearer to them!! Sounded like a goose…are they gooses?? Hmmm…

Now, lets go to the exotarium….

A 5 roubles ticket needed to go into there….student price 5 roubles….usually is more expensive without the student price..hahaha..

That’s all for the zoo!! We started our ZOO adventure from 10 am to 2 pm! Too bad no picture of the dolphins!! Cause we missed the performances!!
Now…lets go for lunch..planned to go for buffet in Chinese restaurant..but too bad, we cant find the location…cause it’s too far…and not very obviously exposed ….in the end? We went to megamall! The cheapest and biggest shopping complex you ever see…hahaha…I m not sure if it’s the biggest..but very sure that it’s the cheapest product you can buy in MOSCOW!
